Dr. German L. Murias

Dr. German L Murias has been servicing the Hialeah/Miami Lakes community since 1985. Prior to becoming a dentist, he was in the profession as a dental ceramist where he worked in a lab making crowns, bridges and dentures among other things. In June 1988, when Dr. German L. Murias opened the Hialeah office with a vision to provide top-tier dental care for the whole family.

When he graduated from la universidad central del este in San Pedro de Macorís, Dominican Republic in 1985, he made a commitment to never stop learning and to always seek out any knowledge that would improve his craft. His pursuit of excellence led him to complete a prestigious two-year implant surgery and restoration program at Harvard University in 1992, where he trained under leading implant dentists. This commitment to learning and innovation has kept the practice at the cutting edge of dental advancements.

By 2003 he became a fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry later becoming a diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology, the highest accreditation possible in implant dentistry. Dr. German is recognized for his expertise in implantology, being one of fewer than 500 active members in the entire American Academy of Implant Dentistry.

He brings decades of experience in placing implants, combining this extensive knowledge with the latest technology available at the office, where he works alongside his sons, Dr. Eric L. Murias and Dr. Frank J. Murias. Together, they continue the family tradition of excellence, combining his expertise with the innovative technologies introduced by his sons—setting this practice apart.

In addition to being an extremely accomplished dentist, he is also an inventor and has several patents on innovative surgical instruments that are used around the world. He is a loving husband to his wife of 38 years, a devoted father and a doting grandfather.
